Efficacy
We hold ourselves to measurable outcomes — and we’ll publish them honestly, including where we fall short.
What we measure
Every learner’s progress is tracked against CEFR can-do goals — not just minutes spent.
Can-do checks at each level confirm real ability, from A1 greetings to C2 fluency.
Fill-in-the-blank, MCQ and match scores show whether concepts landed — per topic, per learner.
Return rates and streaks measure whether learning becomes a habit.
The hypothesis
Decades of second-language-acquisition research point to a consistent finding: a learner’s first language is a resource, and comprehensible input in a language they already understand speeds up acquiring the next one.
For the hundreds of millions of Indians who don’t think in English, an English-mediated course adds a translation tax on every single sentence. Removing it should mean faster comprehension, better retention and lower drop-off. That is the effect we are built to produce — and to measure.
As our learner base grows, we will run and publish controlled studies comparing first-language-mediated learning to English-mediated learning for Indian speakers — with methodology open to scrutiny. No cherry-picked numbers.
Join learners across India mastering new languages the natural way.
