Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

We want you to try Lingva with confidence. This policy explains when subscription payments made to Demystify Systems for Lingva are refundable, how to ask for a refund, and how long processing takes. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).

7-day refund window for first purchases

• If this is your first paid purchase of a Lingva plan, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the payment date — no questions asked.
• The window applies once per learner, to the first purchase only. Later purchases and renewals are covered by the renewal rules below.
• Where a refund is granted, access to the paid content ends when the refund is issued.

How to request a refund

• Contact us through the in-app support inbox (Account → Support) or the contact details published on our website.
• Include the email address on your account and, if available, the payment reference from your receipt.
• Tell us briefly why you are cancelling — optional, but it helps us improve.

We confirm every refund request by email once it has been reviewed.

Processing timelines

• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
• Depending on your bank or card issuer, the amount may take a few additional days to appear on your statement.
• If a refund fails because the original payment method is closed, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.

Free trials

• Plans that start with a free trial can be cancelled at any time during the trial from Settings, and no charge is made.
• If you forget to cancel and the trial converts to a paid subscription, contact support within 7 days of the first charge and we will refund it under the first-purchase window above (if unused).

Renewals and cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel any time from Settings; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period already paid.
• Renewal payments are not refundable once the new period has begun, except where required by law or where a billing error on our side caused the charge.
• If you believe a renewal was charged in error (for example after you cancelled), contact support within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct it.

What is not refundable

• Partial periods after you cancel mid-cycle (access simply runs to the end of the paid period).
• Purchases older than the 7-day first-purchase window, unless a billing error occurred.
• Charges arising from account sharing or other breaches of the Terms of Service.

Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you were double-charged or charged an incorrect amount, tell us as soon as possible. Verified billing errors are always refunded in full, regardless of the windows above.
